Rachel Murphy has expressed deep concern over the traumatic experience his five-pound dog, Toto , went through last weekend. According to Rachel , a groomer allegedly taped Toto r's mouth shut after being bitten, resulting in the dog being bloody and distressed.
Rachel said, "My pup was clearly in distress. What I initially thought was a muzzle turned out to be tape. Toto r's toenails were cut too close to his paws, which caused him to bite. His paws looked reddened and bruised.
The groomer responsible for these actions was employed by Wow! My Dog, a mobile pet salon.
Rachel took Toto straight to the hospital for emergency medical care. He joined a number of others in accusing Wow! My Dog for animal abuse. As a result, the San Mateo's office has initiated an investigation into the company for potential animal cruelty.
Rachel described what he saw. "I noticed injuries near the joints, in the neck area, and around the genital areas." The cuts were so severe that they caused bleeding."
Marianna De las Vegas, a customer of Wow! My Dog, posted a review on Yelp, detailing how his pets were returned to him injured or unwell. Another customer took a Snapchat of a dog appearing to be in pain. They claimed that a groomer inserted an ear napkin by force.
Bad Review
Wow! My Dog, in addition to the bad Yelp reviews and the fact that he was trusted to take care of their pets, wants his customers to know what the groomer said. Rachel shared: "Juliann told that I should tape my mouth shut as it was an acceptable and normal method. Juliann claimed this is better than a muzzle because he thinks a dog can get hurt by using one. He said that he uses the method himself on his dogs.
Gate News called Wow! click here My Dog and she answered, but then handed the phone over to another woman who told Gate News that they were looking into the allegations. But when Puppy was brought up, she said it was a different entity and ended the call abruptly.
